Exploring JOHTO in Pokemon Gold

Good morning! I have once again journeyed to the other side of the map of Pokemon and starting out in GENERATION II Pokemon Gold. This game is like the first generation of RED and BLUE versions where you choose a pokemon out of three to start your Pokemon Training Career. As for me, I choose Totodile. I have notived that cave pokemons sucked at water types and water types have huge defense rating so Totodile is for me. I started at NEW BARK TOWN like PALLET TOWN in Kanto and I am trying to push through with the game.

This is the map of JOHTO. As of writing, I am still at the CHERRYGROVE, Route 46 and Route 29 Areas. I am still trying to fit myself in with the system. There is a lot of new stuff added to the previous game to make it this game like phone, emails, pokegears and more. Medyo bag-o jud sya but same game play for me. I am still familiarizing this game so that come generation V, I will have a DS by that time and buy the latest pokemon game in the market. I am following the story line and fit my self to it.

HOpefully, I could win this game and recapture my exploits back in Pokemon Yellow.

Journey to Kanto, My Pokemon Days

I didn't own a gameboy and it's hard to look for one these days. I started playing this game just this year during my free time and I didn't expect that I'm going to be hooked. Now, I have finished the game and still can't put the game down. I have played the Blue and Red versions before way back in 1999. I was 4th year HS back then, I played it at an emulator on PC. I didn't knew what to do and eventually got lost in the game. My farthest and deepest experience was when I played it back in 3rd year college and went deep until I've reached SS ANNE. I got tired of the game from there. I left it out for years until now. 12 years after I played it, I took the courage to play it once again. I have read books on how to become a Pokemon master and I have read FAQs and walkthroughs in case I got lost. I got back dedicated more than ever. I downloaded a ME BOY and install it on my mobile phone and let the gaming started from there.

PALLET TOWN
Grabe ka nostalgic nga game katung nag start ko sa Pallet Town. I named my self Roderik and my rival Ricky pag start sa game. I tried to go out to the world and Prof. Oak stopped me to tell me it's dangerous to go out without a Pokemon ready! A pikachu came out and Prof. caught it. It was to be given to me at his lab while my rival was there getting my supposed to be pokemon Eevee. After that, Ricky battled Eevee against my Pikachu at level 5! I lost! Hahaha.

VIRIDIAN CITY
I went north to this city passing through route 1 and encountering lots of Pidgey and Rattata along the way and my Pikachu zapped all of them until it reached level 15. I went to the pokecenter to get Prof Oak's package and delivered it back to him at Pallet. He then gave me a Pokedex.

VIRIDIAN FOREST
After nako mag libot libot I headed to the forest and caught bug type pokemons. Caterpie evolved to Butterfree kai grabe ka gamit nako in the early stages of the game. Power kaayo ang confusion sa mga bug types.

PEWTER CITY
I faced Brock for the Boulder badge ani nga City. Line up nako consisted of Pidgey, Nidoran nga lalaki, Pikachu, Caterpie ug Mankey.

MT. MOON
Grabe ka mga gahi ang mga Geodude ug mga Onix aning lugara. It's better to catch Geodude to battle against them. If you have A fully grown caterpie/butterfree, mismatch ang mga bato sa confusion ug psychic. Medyo na libog pud ko ug gawas kai lisod kaayo mag pakabuhi ani nga lugara.. hahaha

CERULEAN CITY
I faced Misty ani nga city and earned the Cascade BAdge.. Sayun ra kai gina kilaw ni Pikachu ang mga water type nga mga pokemon. My line up consisted of Pikachu, Mankey, Geodude, Caterpie, Nidoran, Pidgey!

VERMILION CITY
Turf ni Lt. Surge. My line up would change into a more versatile one. NIDORINO 23, IVYSAUR 23, PIDGEOTTO 22, CHARMELEON 25, BUTTERFREE 22, and PIKACHU 27. That line up boarded SS ANNE and face my rival RICKY! It was a heated battle as both of Charmeleon and Butterfree fainted. Ivysaur and Nidorino almost fainted and Pidgeotto never got used while Pika was raised to level 31! After this, I got a Squirtle so I have to train him nasad and add him to my line up. Turned out to be my best Pokemon in the game.

DIGLETT'S CAVE
This is the tanking of squirtle. Dinhi siya nahimong wartotle! Owning kaayo and water type dinhi. One click, one kill diritso!

LAVENDER TOWN
Labay lang.

CELADON CITY
shopping district ni. Dinhi nako nakita ang mga stones mga TMs ug HMs, mga items nga daghan. Restock na dayun ko. Gi face pud nako ang gym leader diri si Erika but before nako gi challenge siya, laag pa ko sa GAME CORNER.

LAVENDER TOWER
balik na sad ko sa lavender town para sa tower. Dili ka maka lahutay kung wala kai scope kai dili nimo makita ang mga ghosts. Diri nako nakuha akong MVP na Pokemon. HAUNTER! Diri nako gi tank si Butterfree ug Kadabra. Pero gi bench nako ang Butterfree since si Kadabra naay recover. Proved to be substantial in critical game scenarios. paghawa nako ani nga town my line up consisted of:

Ivysaur 31
Nidorino 24
Butterfree 28

SAFFRON CITY
Undersieged ni nga lugar by TEAM ROCKET, so imu ni i save nga lugar before ka mu battle sa GYM Leader. So laag laag ko sa Silph Co. And i met my Rival Ricky with level 35 Sandslash, a Level 35 Cloyster, a Level 37 Magneton, a Level 35 Kadabra, and a Level 40 Eevee. You'll also have to battle Team Rocket who will have a Level 31 Weezing, a Level 31, and a Level 31 Meowth. After nako sila gi down, i faced Giovanni.

Giovanni will have a Level 37 Nidorino, a Level 35 Persian, and a Level 41 Nidoqueen. Pero si Blastoise ang ga kulata ana nga line up! After nako na free ang Saffron sa rocket, i faced sabrina and I lost to her line up.

Sabrina will have a Level 50 Abra, a Level 50 Kadabra, and a Level 50 Alakazam.

I changed my line up and put a kadabra on it. I leveled it at Lavender Tower for days! The second time a faced Sabrina, Kadabra was owning! My line up consisted of:

Kadabra 40
Blastoise 40
Pikachu 40
Charmander 40
Butterfree 35
Haunter 38

FUCHSIA CITY
Faced Koga, the city's gym leader and downed him. Mas power pa si sabrina sa iyaha. He's just a pushover sa akong line up! Koga will have a Level 44 Venonat, a Level 46 Venonat, a Level 48 Venonat, and a Level 50 Venomoth.

POWER PLANT
Muanhi ra jud ta dinhi if you wanted a Zapdos and that's it!

SEAFOAM ISLAND
anhi gihapon ta dinhi for another legendary Pokemon, Articuno!

CINNABAR ISLAND
Haunter 42 owned Blaine's Ninetails 48, Rapidash 50 & Arcanine 54!!! Grabe ka kusog ang Hypnosis/Dream Eater Combo! It will lessen the HP of the opposing pokemon while raising Haunter's HP. Tulog pa jud ang kontra for 4 turns! Top that! Mau jud ni akong MVP!! Wala na jud nako na gamit si BLASTOISE!

Back to PALLET TOWN & VIRIDIAN CITY
I went home and met mom who heals all your pokemon. and prepare for Giovani at VIRIDIAN CITY for the final Badge. Giovanni will have a Level 50 Dugtrio, a Level 53 Persian, a Level 53 Nidoqueen, a Level 55 Nidoking, and a Level 55 Rhydon. My line up that beat him:

POKEMON LEAGUE Entrance
nag atang na sad ang panuway nga Ricky! hahahahaha. Iyahang Sandslash ug ninetails kai gi down sa akong Haunter, iyahang Kadabra ug exeggute kai gi drill pecked by Zapdos. Magneton ug Vaporen kai gi owned ni Haunter! Mismatche na dayun! hahahahaha.

VICTORY ROAD MAZE
I spent 2 daysfiguring how to get out of this place! After I got out, my pokemon were boosted up. gi dako ang mga levels.

INDIGO PLATEAU
battled the elite 4 and ricky as their champion and won during the first try with this line up:

My second try was unfortunate. I was downed by lance! hahahah! But my third up to sixth try was all win. My last try as of writing was epic! My last line up:

Grabe ka owning nang last nako nga line up! hahahahahah!!!!! I got Mewtwo at the Unknown cave sa CERULEAN City. It only opens up kung ma declare ka nga pokemon league champion! My Pokedex as of writing is 133 seen and 80 owned. Out of 151 pokemons for yellow.

Now, I am venturing to go to JOHTO and start it all over again! But im proud to have finished this old GAMEBOY Game! Special thanks for Nintendo for giving us this classic. Sa susunod nga mga travels with me, Rickshow over and out!

Journey to Midgard, My Lord Knight Days

Behind every activity there is a story worth telling. Behind every story there is a different drama unfolding. Behind the drama and scenes there lived the moment. And from that moment, we experienced failures and success. But the mere thought of doing it all over again remained a struggle and a push to the limit experience. Yet, in our quest to become huge and mythical, power is our ally. Determination is our fuel. Failure is our anger and most of all. Our goal is to shine like no other have shone before. This is the ultimate quest and the ultimate goal to become strong.

This is my quest in becoming a lord knight.

Becoming a lord knight is hard. Since this is a 3rd job in Ragnarok, so you have to go through it again. The painful part is that you have to give up your level 99 to do it. Once you become a level 99 Knight, you have to go back being a High Novice for this. You must give up your shiny character to go through it again. Ouch! Magpa level na pud utro? YES! Same procedures yet different circumstances and different requirements. After sa Novice, mag apply na pud ka ug High Swordsman and after that, Lord Knight na dayun. It was a very stressful moment kai bago pa ka nagpa 99 tapus balik uno na sad. Lami pa kaayo mag laaglaag sa Prontera or Morroc nga ga sinaw. Hahahahah! But if the drive to become a level 99 Lord Knight, you must endure anything and give up almost anything. I was very thankful for Link2Support, Inc. for granting me enough if not more salaries to quenched this insatiable thirst of playing Ragnarok. As the moment goes, the playing time went as well. Finally! Dreams are meant to be real! I did it again. For 2 Years!

Power is everything. In my drive to become powerful, I almost did anything to prove my point. I am no Push over now. Back in my college days where I was depending on my parent's allowance to play the game, I was not playing to my full potential due to lack of monetary support. But playing this game with full resources from your job, you get unlimited possibilities. My bud Pastor P went with me through this journey. We started and ended our careers in Ragnarok the moment we finished leveling up the 3rd Job. We even took the same hobbies and interests afterwards but our life in Ragnarok will forever be engraved deep within our souls forever. Until the day we die, we can proudly say we took Midgard by storm. We had fun and we did everything in our power to have fun. We participated in events, siege and war on emperium. We hold Agits (castle) almost every Siege day. We were small in numbers but we are a powerful bunch. I took my hat of to the guys who played with me. Wirt, Jayson, P, Ivan and Regie. We the Aggression Guild Stormed Midgard until our tastes ran out. Thank you all!
